2015 was a challenging year for technickon, we were approached by one of our long standing Clients – BUPA Home Healthcare who required a full cleanroom upgrade during out of hours shutdowns.
The three facilities each housing 4 ISO Class 7 cleanrooms required new floors, HLAF’s and general repair works.
Each Friday night for three months the technickon team would begin on one cleanroom (5m x 5m) and associated support rooms (ISO Class 7 change rooms), we would then hand back each room the following Saturday morning to allow the Client to perform a full clean down and continue with aseptic manufacturing activities within 48 hrs.
It was real challenge to hand each room back on time, but with careful planning prior to the shutdown works and a great team we were able to hand back each room before the 8am cut off each time.
Being able to solve any problems that we found whilst undertaking the works ensured the facility was up and running again without any issues – every time.
